Love the series, but I hate that Capcom is trying to pull a Street Fighter with it. DR2 has a few issues with AI here and there, but at least I feel like I can leave a survivor alone for a few minutes without them running head on into a hoard of zombies without any means of personal defense. DR1's survivor intelligence was on par with that of a traffic cone (unless you give them a gun and tell them to stay put, as they have infinite ammo and near perfect aim). Without any doubt this is why I loved Dead Rising 2 so much more than the first. and let's not forget that she had already been punished for this once before, and chose to do it again despite this. It had nothing to do with bashing a friend, it was all about a girl who didn't have a "cool" and "dramatic" life so she made one up instead at the expense of her family. in a post neither of her parents could see until they went onto her Facebook themselves due to blocking. The dad was angry about his daughter who, despite having a great family and little to nothing to worry about, went onto Facebook and posted baseless lies about her family that made them seem as if they were treating the girl like a slave, and that her home life was so horrible and she was finally standing up for herself. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys a well done, medieval-fantasy dungeon crawler.ĭon't bash on your friends on social websites, or your father will put a bullet through your laptop with a gun. It's a very open ended, unrestricted game that tries to not let the story force you where to go, but still leaves in plenty of plot for those who wish to search for the bits and pieces of it through NPC dialogue and item descriptions.

The PvP/Co-Op is amazing, and allowing players to leave messages throughout the world to help (or in some cases hinder) the player is genius, since without the commenting system the game would be near impossible to get through. I've been playing Dark Souls quite a bit now, and I have to say that while, at first, the game's difficulty drove me insane (if the game had a death counter, I'd very much hate to see it) after getting dodging down and spending time fine tuning my character to my own playing style, it's a very enjoyable game. Latest Post: Wayra Devpost #2: "A Little New" I'll just enjoy using VX and implementing scripts that allow it to do exactly what Ace can do.įollow me on Hermitscape for random bits of game design talk and pixel art, or even request something for me to draw. Needless to say, I won't be bothering to buy this. One of the main issues I have with Enterbrain is that they seem to like redeeming themselves for the high price of their engine by the fact that games made on it can be sold for profit, but has anyone really ever made a profit off of one of these games? VX costs $60 here in the US, and I remember being completely baffled upon its release about how they could sell such a low grade engine for that price, and now they're trying to push it even further with a new engine that is just pieces of past ones loosely stitched together with very little new content added in, if any at all.

Ace adds very little to VX beyond mixing in a few features from XP, which were themselves taken from 2k3. Got a hold of it along with a fan translation and I have to say that I'm very disappointed in Enterbrain, though I have been since XP.
